Why do WPS pictures show as =DISPIMG(…) in Excel?

WPS stores in-cell images in its own format and Excel doesn't know the DISPIMG function, so it shows the formula text.

What does the result look like?

Each image becomes a regular picture anchored inside its original cell, scaled to fit and centered; it moves and resizes with the cell and follows its row when filtering or sorting, in both Excel and WPS.

Does other data change?

Only the DISPIMG cells are cleared; every other cell and format is untouched.
